Professionals having the responsibility for Organizational Continuity Management within an enterprise must be able to administer a program with many facets in an era of rapid change, tight budgets and severe time constraints. The National Center for Organizational Continuity realizes the challenges faced by practitioners. It is difficult to handle all of the responsibilities of this critical role in the timeframe available to do the job. As well, the team must keep abreast of new threats, changing risk management techniques, evolving standards and regulations, and innovations in industry best practices and industry solutions.
The Practitioners’ Corner is designed to provide a forum for information exchange and access to new ideas and industry best practices. The NCOC encourages organizational continuity professionals to utilize this free forum.
The Practitioners’ Corner was developed to encourage and facilitate a brisk exchange of ideas among professionals as they:
- Seek answers to questions about organizational continuity
- Post new ideas for consideration by others in the industry
- Recount real world experiences in dealing with disruptions of many types
- Report on the trends which will impact the industry in the years to come
- Share techniques for the improvement of organizational preparedness
